Who We Are?

Bircham International University was conceived as a private, self-governing institution committed to providing higher education for the 21st century. Established in Europe by some of the most recognized educators.

From the inception of BIU in 1992, the BIU academic board has worked hard to integrate a variety of methodologies, disciplines, and cultures, as well as to assimilate the core features of existing educational systems in order to present an institution that accommodates the exigencies of each culture and language, without losing sight of its essential international character. Doctors from all countries join BIU Academic Board.

BIU today is recognized, member or affiliated to more over 10 international and reputable organizations from the European Union and the U.S.A.

Guarantee of Multiple Legality

At BIU we endorse the legalization process and corresponding authorizations from the most representative countries in which we are established: USA, European Union & Commonwealth. This not only offers the students a strong guarantee and a uniquely solid legal position, but also allows our degrees to be simultaneously issued by various countries and legalized internationally in any of those countries. Within a few years, it will not be necessary to get our degrees validated or accredited, as countries from the seven continents will automatically recognize them. At present, Bircham International University is a private and independent institution, registered and legalized in four countries:

- America - United States of America as Bircham International University with authority to issue degrees of Specialist/Expert, Bachelor, Master and Doctorate.

- America - Commonwealth of the Bahamas as Bircham International University, with authority to issue degrees of Specialist/Expert, Bachelor, Master and Doctorate.

- Europe - United Kingdom as Bircham International College with authority to issue degrees of Specialist/Expert.

- Europe - Spain as Bircham International University, with authority to issue degrees of Specialist/Expert, Bachelor and Master.

On February 1, 2000 we establish Bircham International University as a non-profit organization in the State of Delaware, USA with the Registry number 001051898-3169257 with the purpose of providing higher education and degrees.

Bircham International University is a private, indenpendent, non-official provider of higher education and as such we are not required of any further authroizations from the Ministry of Education in Spain, nor in Bahamas.
